When Experts Gather, Big Ideas Flourish

Marketing

For the display industry, conferences and tradeshows are the ultimate “Marketplace of Ideas”. They foster community, conversation and engagement. They’re a preferred launch pad for exciting new technologies and a forum for real-time problem solving. It’s no coincidence that Kateeva debuted its core innovations at an industry conference.

That’s why we’re proud that Kateeva’s Dr. Neetu Chopra will participate in guiding the OLED Program at Display Week 2019. For years, this annual event hosted by the Society for Information Display (SID) has gathered display industry professionals and served as a premier discussion forum and innovation showcase. Neetu was recently appointed as a Committee Member for the OLED Program by SID. She has been involved with SID since 2015, chairing special events and seminars for the organization’s local Bay Area chapter. It’s not her first foray into conference program development. Previously, she served as a conference chair at Display Week, SPIE Optics + Photonics, and IMID.

Along with her SID OLED committee role, Neetu was also appointed to the Advisory Board of this year’s OLEDs World Summit. The annual event will be held in the Fall.

When she joined Kateeva in 2014, Neetu brought extensive experience in thin film devices, and device design and operation analysis for OLEDs. With this background, she played a key role in helping display customers transition to Kateeva’s YIELDjet™ solution for OLED TFE mass production. In increasingly responsible roles at Kateeva, she has also applied her expertise to technical development on materials properties & characterization, as well as process design & development. Today, Neetu leads technology development for Kateeva’s RGB OLED Pixel Printing Program as the company’s RGB Program Director.

Neetu earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology from Delhi College of Engineering in 2005 while working at National Physical Laboratory, in Delhi, India on various organic electronics-related projects. She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida at Gainesville in 2009. In addition, Neetu has published 20+ articles in top journals, is named on nine patent applications and is a frequent presenter at industry conferences. In 2012 she served as a Judge for the Intel International Science Fair.

We’re proud that Neetu is contributing to important industry conferences in such a meaningful way.
