Kateeva, an inkjet printing equipment provider, and Sumitomo Chemical Co. Ltd, a global supplier of organic light emitting diode (OLED) materials, have entered a deal to collaborate on accelerating inkjet uptake for large-size OLED TVs. Kateeva developed a novel inkjet printing equipment for OLED mass production and the non-exclusive agreement allows Sumitomo to pair its inks with Kateeva’s YIELDjet platform to help speed affordable OLED TVs to market.
