After several years of planning and construction, we are proud to say that our new operations hub in Shaoxing, China is officially open. At our recent Grand Opening event, customers, investors, suppliers, local officials, and friends came to see the innovation that defines Kateeva.
Kateeva CEO, Bin Liu, addresses guests at the Shaoxing facility Grand Opening
The new facility becomes the center of gravity for Kateeva’s business in China. It adds a critical piece to our customer-adjacent operations strategy, making us more agile and competitive. The building is comprised of nearly 100,000 square feet. It includes space for engineering and manufacturing, as well as operations, sales and support, and administration.
The extra capacity strengthens our capability to help leaders mass-produce emerging display technologies and extend our inkjet solutions into areas beyond displays. The facility rounds out our global infrastructure that includes our R&D center in Silicon Valley and operations in South Korea.
Tools for our China-based customers will be built at this location, with critical print software algorithms and print hardware designs coming from Kateeva US. This gives local manufacturing leaders faster access to Kateeva’s advanced equipment and world-class expertise. In addition, closer proximity makes collaboration more effective and helps us fast-track development of next-generation solutions.
